Nugan Estate is one of Australia’s rising stars in premium, estate grown wine. Respected Australian writer, James Halliday, praised Nugan Estate’s rise stating “Nugan Estate arrived on the scene like a whirlwind” (2007 James Halliday Australian Wine Companion). Indeed, in 8 years Nugan Estate has collected 28 Trophies, 1272 medals and our winemaker, Daren Owers, was the 2004 Wine Society Young Winemaker of the Year (Member Choice). Nugan Estate Single Vineyard

The Nugan family has been involved in agriculture for more than 65 years and the Nugan Estate Single Vineyard Collection is their label dedicated to showcasing the best varietals from Australia’s finest wine growing regions. Being an estate grown best of the regions collection, the family sources fruit for this collection from their vineyards in the McLaren Vale, King Valley, Riverina and Coonawarra - crafting each wine to reflect its unique varietal and regional characteristics.

Nugan Estate Black & White

The Nugan Estate Black & White label is Nugan Estate’s second label made from estate grown fruit from the family’s vineyards around Australia. The Black & White label represents value and consistency over-delivering at its price point to allow consumers to enjoy quality wine every day.

Nugan Estate Third Generation

The Nugan Estate Third Generation label celebrates the family lineage offering amazing quality at an affordable price point.

Cookoothama

Cookoothama is made from estate grown fruit from the family’s vineyards in the King Valley and Darlington Point. Cookoothama “cooka-a-tharma” is the name of the family’s vineyard at Darlington Point on the Murrumbidgee River and is the aboriginal word meaning ‘fertile land’. The two hands on the label represent the people who have lived and cultivated the land spread along the banks of the Murrumbidgee River transforming it into the prosperous land it is today.

Talinga Park

Talinga Park provides premium quality at a reasonable everyday price point. This range is fun and approachable yet it continues to over-deliver on value and quality in the bottle.

Wally's Hut

Wally’s Hut is the stockman's hut built in the 1860's on our Cookoothama vineyard. The hut was used by stockmen who rode the fence line of this once vast grazing property protecting its livestock. Today, the lone rider is long gone and the landscape has been transformed by vines but Wally's Hut stands as his legacy.
