Nugan Estate is the family’s winery dedicated to producing estate grown, premium wines from their vineyards in Australia’s finest wine growing regions. Nugan Estate is complimented by a portfolio of wine labels and extra virgin olive oil.
In the early 1990s Nugan Group decided to diversify into premium wine production. Hence, from 1993 onwards the Nugan Group began acquiring and developing vineyards across Australia including in the Riverina in New South Wales, King Valley in Victoria and McLaren Vale in South Australia. In addition, Nugan Estate sources premium quality grape from the renowned Coonawarra region in South Australia.
Nugan Quality Foods is Nugan Group’s jewel in the crown. Based in Griffith, it annually processes in excess of 70,000 tonne of premium fruit and vegetable juice products for key domestic and export markets. Currently the largest manufacturer of niche juice products to Asia in the Southern Hemisphere, this company has been integral to the Group’s renaissance and ongoing success.
This is the latest addition to the Nugan Group and provides deep freeze and cold space storage. Housed at Nugan Quality Foods state of the art juice plant, this facility has capacity to store 60,000 drums with complete temperature control.
Nugan Griffith is the heritage of the Nugan Group being the fruit and vegetable packing business which founded the company in 1940. Today, Nugan Griffith is still in operation, using technology and premium produce to supply first grade citrus to domestic and export markets.
